The T-shirt with an interesting "Story" behind the design

by / Friday, 28 February 2014 / Published in Blog

Since the first conquest of the skies, Aviators have personalized aircraft with artistic creations. This needed a name, its own character, its own identity. It had to be unique and distinguished. This practice, known as Nose Art, was at the height of its evolution during the Second World War, a period in which aircraft fusiliers  were truly blank canvases on which pilots expressed their imagination and humour, almost in an attempt to overcome their fear.

This graffiti became an integral part of the aircraft, just like its propeller or its engine, without which it would lose its character and pride.

The history of these planes can be relived today by putting on a t-shirt. But those drawings, those little life stories, are reinterpreted with the help of a message which gives a positive twist on things. Symbols of war are turned into symbols of peace. So every missile, every bomb becomes something that warms your heart.
